Chelsea Flower Show

The Chelsea Flower Show is an enormous outdoor garden event held in London every year, for a week, in late May. It's huge and very popular with the gardening set here in the UK. (And the English do love their gardens!) I've always wanted to go. This year I finally got tickets and dragged invited D to join me. Being the good sport that he is, he went along with a smile. (I bought him a big pork sarnie, which helped!) The show is made up of show gardens planted in advance by professionals, booths for vendors of every type of garden & patio product known to man, and a huge tent filled with plant and flower varieties for sale. We had a beautiful day to visit, and despite the crowds that made seeing the show gardens difficult, we enjoyed the visual spectacle. And now that I've ticked that box, D doesn't ever have to go again, for which he is undoubtedly grateful.
