In late March, D had a conference in Brussels, which gave us an excellent excuse to once again visit our travel buddies, Don & Cathy, at their Belgian home. We spent a long weekend before the start of the conference hanging out in Brussels and travelling to the nearby beautiful canal town of Ghent. Ghent was a great place to wander. 
Back in Brussels we window shopped, 
visited a new museum, relaxed at home, 
saw some gorgeous stained glass windows, 
noticed some murals we hadn't seen before, 
and bought groceries at the local outdoor markets 
which Don & Cathy then turned into feasts we could enjoy before (and while!) watching NCAA basketball tournament games.
