We got out of Maryland in-between the two massive snowstorms last week -- we pushed travel plans ahead and managed to get on the very last flight out of Baltimore to London for 3 days! We returned to the news that another 20" of snow had fallen in Baltimore. Wow -- what a winter. It was a great trip to Maryland; productive from a work perspective for D, and it gave us an opportunity to catch-up with some old friends and to spend more fun time in the snow with Steve, Maria, and the boys. Steve is like a big kid in the snow:
We thought it was fantastic that the kids missed three days of school due to snow while we were visiting in December -- the fact that we got even more goof-off days with them this month was a real bonus!
