Only in London...

...would the Christmas lights have an umbrella theme!! "I'm dreaming of a Wet Christmas, just like the ones I used to know..." But, to be fair, there are "prezzies" (better known as "presents" to those of you in the US)... ...and lovely doves, too.

amazing!

I usually have a hard time seeing Christmas lights or hearing Christmas music before Thanksgiving. It generally makes my skin crawl. But in this case, I must make an exception. Those lights are gorgeous!!! Does the UK have a version of our Black Friday?

Hi Missy!
The giant main shopping district of London (Oxford & Regent streets) has been fully decorated since November 1. All of the stores are fully in Christmas mode, too. I went into London to do a shopping day and was mesmerized by the amazing full-on holiday display. I'm embarrassed to admit that I loved it and that I'm now completely in the holiday spirit -- and it's only Veteran's Day! But no, since there is no Thanksgiving here (except at our house!), there is no equivalent to Black Friday. (Bummer!)
Maybe you & Jared should plan a holiday trip to London for next year? I know a great place in Horsham where you can stay...!

I would LOVE that! I have been working on him to apply for a passport for some time now.

We are going to the Diana exhibit on Black Friday. I can't wait!
