Spending Quality Time with Bob & Marie

When I graduated from college 25 years ago, I took a job with a relatively small company in Annapolis because I liked the people and thought the work sounded interesting. In retrospect, I cannot believe what a great and life-changing decision that was. I spent ten happy years there, and now D, who joined the company several years later, has been working there for almost 20 years himself. Some of our favorite people in the world are people we've met while working there. Among our most favorite are Bob & Marie, who've come here to spend a few days with us. We couldn't be happier! We've been friends for nearly 20 years, and have shared many fantastic personal and professional experiences -- around the world. We've enjoyed sharing our little piece of Southern England with them this week, from Winchester's fantastic medieval cathedral: to the windswept white chalk cliffs at Beachy Head: and, after Jeff rejoined us, a play and dinner in London: We thought that this very happy visit was the perfect occasion to break out the special bottle of ice wine we'd gotten from Ed & Lorna -- Cheers!
