Peder is Back in Town

Peder is back in London for client meetings. We spent time with him yesterday -- first going to the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms, then out for drinks and dinner. The Cabinet War Rooms are an underground complex of rooms beneath the Treasury building in Central London from which Winston Churchill and his Cabinet performed command and control of the British Forces during World War II. The rooms were abandoned at the end of the war, but have now been fully restored. One large space in the complex has also been turned into an excellent museum depicting the life of Winston Churchill. The three of us completely lost one another in the maze of the museum...and cell phones had no signal in the underground bunker so we couldn't reconnect that way. Peder had to play border collie to round us up and get us out to dinner! The visit was a great start to what is proving to be a rainy Easter weekend in London.
