Wrapping Up Tom & Jamie's Visit

I just dropped Tom & Jamie off at Gatwick Airport for their return trip to the US. I've known Tom since I was 4 years old, and Jamie since I was 9 years old. (I introduced them when we were 16, and the rest is history!) It was wonderful to spend time with some of our dearest friends on Earth. We had a blast! We visited some favorite places, and we did some things that we had not done before, too. Here we are at a cricket match (the fans were clearly overcome with enthusiasm for the game):We visited Winchester Cathedral:
We toured the lovely "Little Venice" area of London via canal boat:The canal boat dropped us off at the electic and funky Camden Market:We saw the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace:We enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London:We climbed to the top of the Tower Bridge:Jamie wasn't nearly as enthusiastic about the tour of the drawbridge's engineering works as the engineers were!We played many highly competitive games of Sequence. Sadly, the partnership of D and Jamie could only manage one win...but Jamie managed some of the best trash-talking ever after that final game. (She learned very well at "Bill and Jim's Victory Academy"!)We debated theories about how the stones got there at Stonehenge:And on Tom & Jamie's final night in London we went to see Spamalot in the West End:

Hi Allison, those pictures bring back such good memories. So many of them look very familiar. You must be able to recite most of the guided tours now without the tour guides:)

Miss you guys. Hope you are doing well.
