Just because it's called CANTerbury, doesn't mean you CAN'T have fun there!

July in England with B, L, J & E
As you can see, it isn't ALWAYS raining in England. (Just most of May and June...) But today, the first full day of the visit of my brother and sister-in-law and their two daughters, we actually had sunshine!! B & L and the girls arrived yesterday from Chicago -- we spent the afternoon in Horsham. The girls loved the local park & playground. Today we went east. We started at Leeds Castle, which sits in the middle of a beautiful lake. We even saw an albino peacock! From there we went to Dover. We had lunch at the Dover Marina, played on the pebbly beach, and hiked atop the White Cliffs in a stiff wind. We ended the day in Canterbury, where we toured the Cathedral and enjoyed the town square. Tomorrow -- London!
