Ireland

Ireland

We spent the weekend on the rugged western coast of Ireland. It's a uncommonly beautiful place. We went from Shannon/Limerick through County Clare to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, then on through Galway to the Connemara region. The photos truly don't do justice to the beauty of the area. We look forward to going back again when we have more time to explore and enjoy it.

We went to Connemara to join the celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of our good friends Bob & Marie. All 5 of their children and their families -- including all 13 of their grandchildren -- gathered with them in Ireland in honor of their special occasion. It was a thrill and an honor to share a piece of the festivities with them.
