Debbie's Visit

Our friend Debbie, who also happens to be the significant other of D's Uncle George, had a 24-hour layover here on her way from the US to the Middle East for business. We made it a full day of exploring the local landscape. We toured through Horsham, had a Sunday pub lunch, drove to Devil's Dyke atop the South Downs for broad views of the nearby Sussex countryside, then went to Beachy Head for views of the cliffs and the sea. It was wonderful to see a familiar and friendly face from home, and to have our first overnight visitor. Safe travels, Debbie -- and we hope to see you on your way back to the States!
